Over the past 9 months or so I have come to the realization that the AZ DES Family Assistance Administration is no longer functioning adequately to fulfill its purpose — which is to determine eligibility of those in Arizona who apply for nutrition assistance, medical assistance, and/or cash assistance. The AZ DES Family Assistance Administration is accountable to the federal government for administration of these programs, to the taxpayers of Arizona who partially fund the administration, and to the needy of Arizona who often depend upon these programs for day-to-day survival.
If the people who are adversely affected by the administration of SNAP, Cash Assistance, and eligibility for Medicaid do not speak up about mismanagement, then how can the federal government or the people of Arizona take the AZ DES to task and correct the problem?
This is why I am speaking up. This is why I am making formal complaints.
I welcome the needy of Arizona who are frustrated and angry with the way these systems are being run to raise their voices with me.
